A must-do while visiting Cape May! "THE BIG TRIP"-WHALE AND DOLPHIN WATCH
"We saw many dolphins but were not fortunate enough to see any whales. The trip did get alittle long for the little ones, so because of that next time we would probably just do the two hour dolphin watch. It shouldn't be a problem though for most older kids and adults. If you have a baby or toddler, I highly recommend a sling or some other type of baby carrier. it is a bit to rocky for babies to sit alone, but it is very convienient to take along a stroller, but you must stay on the lower deck with it. I had my Asian-style mei tai, and it worked beautifully for my 15 month-old. The boat rocked him to sleep too, so he even napped in it for a while. Take a jacket! The wind over the ocean makes it chilly! Also you may want to take binoculars, but they do rent them for $5. We started out on the upper deck, but then spent most of our time on the lower deck. You can see very well from any point on the boat. Ii felt the prices were reasonable sinc this isn't something we can do very often, and I especially appreciated that 6 and under are free! Three out of my four were free. The captain also gave a lot of information on the area we were seeing. We recalled several things he had said while we were playing on the beach, and in fact, we chose a specific beach to visit, because of what we learned from him. I recommend staying in Wildwood if you want to stay on the beach. Cape May has a street seperating motels from the beach, but in Wildwood some of them are right next to the sand! There are also several Bed and Breakfasts, or you might check out camp sites or even renting a house for a week or two., but if you want to stay on the beach it will have to be Wildwood. The Reges Resort is pretty nice, but there are others as well. The staff was very friendly and very patient with my 3-year-old who wanted to carry on long conversations. :) They were all very friendly and helpful and nice to my kids. I appreciated that very much. I don't like it when people are constantly snapping at my children to the poijnt that they can't even have any fun, and these people did not do that. I think the only time anyone said anything to any of my kids was when my daughter was in the front of the boat bouncing around because she was very excited. One of the men politely told her she needed to keep both feet on the deck because he wanted her to remain safe. She comlied and that was all. The rails are very high and I was never worried on board the Cape may whale watcher. I really have no complaints at all...except I wish we could have seen some whales, but they couldn't control that! It was a very enjoyable experience, and if/when we are in the area again, I definitely get more tickets! I've already recommended them to my family who live near the area and have never been and also to friends, should they ever go. Awesome Experience. Thanks, CMWW crew! :)"

Excellent Dolphin watching "WEEKEND WHALE AND DOLPHIN"
"The boat took us to a large group of dolphins. They surfaced and surfed in our wake. It was spectacular! We also saw 4 or 5 Northern Gannets (sea birds). Being that close to the dolphins and getting a series of spectacular photos made the trip worthwhile, and I recommend it highly."

What a Sunset! "SUNSET DOLPHIN WATCH"
"This was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip I have ever taken at the jersey shore. My kids love the dolphins and its such an amazing value with Pizza and hot dogs included! Even for my free children!!!! This has become a staple of our trips to the shore. The Sunset was like watching a fireworks display. Simply Breathtaking! No one does this kind of trip better. I was alittle upset about the pizza being served upstairs, but next year they are changing this "
