New Jersey's Largest and Fastest Whale & Dolphin Watch

Cosponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC)

To aid ships sailing the treacherous mid-channel of Delaware Bay, a series of lighthouses were constructed in the 19th Century and the early 20th Century.  Most of these lighthouses are still operating.  All are automated.  They stand on pedestals surrounded by water nearly out of sight of land.

For 2008 the Cape May Whale Watcher will again offer the Delaware Bay Lighthouse Adventure cruise. You will view, appreciate, and photograph these lights.  To date we've taken over 12,000 lighthouse fans.  Trips include a continental breakfast and delicious buffet lunch spread.  All lighthouses are viewed by boat (up close) so bring cameras!  Click here to see some of the lighthouses we visit.  Trips include a historical narrative and ample time for photos.
